Moving to USA 4
Next day,
My son, Mr. Chaos' online classes have
already started. Mole's college classes
will not start until two weeks.
Until then, I don't have anything
to do except eating.
Arizona was in an emergency due to the COVID,
so there was no one in the hotel,
including the front desk, lobby and cafe.
Wanting to feel the presence of people,
I walked around the lobby for no reason.
If you go outside, you will ascend
to the outside air at 110 °F.
For two weeks before
moving to a serviced apartment,
we were canned in a small hotel room.
Looking back the summer of 2020, we spent
most time indoors.
We were trying to take measures against COVID,
but ended up quite dense ...
It was tense waiting in a room hearing 5,000 newly infected people in Arizona every day. We Zoomed online classes, Googled local information via iPhone, and Netflixed before going to bed ... sounds very American, but it was exactly same living we were doing back in Japan. However, in front of us, we see desert and cactus ... days of turmoil.
I am participating in a ranking.
